Brown & Root is your single-source contractor, and your single source of responsibility for all of the services to safely plan, execute, and complete plant turnaround and outage projects. 

We have highly-experienced, trained personnel in all construction crafts, including industry-leading specialty alloy welding, a dedicated boiler services group, and the best planner/schedulers/project managers in the business.  In addition, we have the capability to self-perform all  engineering & design, capital construction, and soft craft (scaffolding, painting, abatement, insulation) services required for turnarounds and outages.

Brown & Root understands the importance of successful plant turnarounds to the overall success of your facility’s operations, providing a window of time to address vital maintenance and process equipment improvements that cannot occur while the plant is in operation.  We also understand that every day of lost production  and every dollar of excessive cost impact the plant’s bottom line, while poor work quality and safety performance can have an even greater impact – we have demonstrated success in keeping a fast-track schedule while maintaining our focus on quality work, executed safely and cost-effectively.

Our Team includes the legacy Maintenance Enterprises (MEI) turnaround group based in White Castle, La. We have more than 50 years’ experience in the refining, chemical/petrochemical and other industries, working in virtually every imaginable repair scenario, in locations around the world.
