We don’t just build projects – we build up people. During Women in Construction Week, we proudly celebrated the women who help shape our company and the industry every day.
From scaffold crews and safety leadership to logistics, the women of Brown & Root are driving progress across every job site, office and project. They are technicians, foremen, planners and timekeepers. They are also mentors, trailblazers, role models and essential to who we are.
Throughout the week, we highlighted a few of the remarkable women who represent the strength, skill and resilience of our workforce:
- Lisa Smith, HSE Manager
- Amy Graham, HSE Specialist
- Tra’shaunda Washington, Scaffold Crew
- Allison Castor, QA/QC Technician
- Vanshel Exnicious, Labor Foreman
- Tammy Barnes, Safety Technician
- Keshaia Pettway, Logistics Driver
- Amy Baxter, Project Receiving
- Louann Rogers, Packaging Supervisor
- Zarah Welford, Building Services
- Luz Tamayo, Planner/Insulation
- Kim Chaffin, Timekeeper
- Kaitlyn Castillo, Capital Scaffold Foreman
- Angela Rincon, Safety Manager
These women bring more than expertise. They bring leadership, vision and dedication that elevate every team they’re a part of. They are proof that excellence knows no gender and are helping pave the way for a stronger, more inclusive future in construction.
As we close out this year’s celebration, we extend our deepest thanks not only to the women we highlighted and all of the “BuildHers” across our organization.
You have the full support of Brown & Root leadership as we continue to champion growth, opportunity and inclusion at every level.
