Brown & Root Industrial Services announced that it has acquired EthosEnergy Operations & Maintenance (O&M) business, a leading independent provider of operations, maintenance and asset performance services for power generation facilities, from EthosEnergy Group.
The acquisition significantly expands Brown & Root’s capabilities in the power generation sector, adding a highly experienced operations and maintenance platform with deep technical expertise across conventional and renewable power assets. The combination broadens Brown & Root’s end-market exposure, strengthens its customer relationships, expands recurring operations-based revenue and creates meaningful cross-selling opportunities across engineering, construction, maintenance, turnaround, and long-term plant operations. The transaction also enhances Brown & Root’s ability to provide customers with integrated lifecycle solutions that span the design, construction, operation, maintenance and optimization of critical industrial infrastructure.
EthosEnergy’s O&M business has established itself as one of the industry’s leading independent providers of operations and maintenance services, with an experience base spanning more than 200 power generation facilities, representing over 50 gigawatts of generating capacity worldwide. The business provides comprehensive operations, maintenance, technical support, reliability engineering, remote operations, asset optimization and compliance services across a broad energy spectrum of utilities, independent power producers, oil and gas, marine and industrial customers.
