WAYNE KILLION

Wayne Killion has served as General Counsel of Brown & Root since the company was founded in 2015.  As General Counsel, he oversees all legal matters for Brown & Root, including contract review and negotiation, claims resolution, insurance, employment matters, and general corporate law. 

Raised in the construction industry, Wayne has more than ten years’ inhouse experience with some of the largest construction firms in the country.  He provides legal counsel balanced by a focus on successful business practices.  He understands the vital importance of long-term business relationships, and brings this understanding to his work with Brown & Root’s customers, suppliers, and partners, working to find creative solutions to issues as they arise.    His department is also involved in human resources, subcontracts, procurement, and risk management, working collaboratively with all levels of the organization.

Wayne earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Lewis & Clark Law School and his undergraduate degree in Finance from Tulane University.  He enjoys working with community organizations including the YMCA, and finding time for golf, hunting, and other outdoor activities.
