MARCUS DEAL

Marcus Deal is President of Brown & Root’s Turnarounds & Specialty Services business lines. Before joining Brown & Root, Marcus worked as Vice President of Maintenance for Chicago Bridge & Iron (CB&I). Marcus has over 35 years of experience in a broad range of Industrial Services.

Marcus’ industry experience includes 20 years at Jacobs, 13 years at The Shaw Group, and 2 years at Chicago Bridge & Iron (CB&I). Under his leadership, Brown & Root’s turnaround and specialty services business has experienced significant and steady growth.

He is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors as well as The Reliability & Maintenance Center at The University of Tennessee.  He participates in continuing education and professional development courses, with an emphasis on industrial safety.

Marcus and his wife reside in Houston, Texas near his two children and four granddaughters. Away from work, Marcus spends his time in family-oriented activities, golf, and fishing.
